    How to Effectively Build Your Team Through Understanding and Empathy

    Speaker: Joseph Semprevivo, MA, MS, Broker

    Topic Overview:

    Those with high levels of empathy are skilled at understanding a situation from another person’s perspective and reacting with compassion.  Empathy in the context of the workplace simply means that your people can establish true, empathetic connections with one another that enhance relationships and performance.

    Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.  Learn how different techniques can result in certain outcomes.  Create a team of employees in which you can build trust and create an environment of teambuilding in which all feels supported and valued.

    • Identify and use team building exercises that foster relationship development.

    TCHRA has chosen SafeSpace as our charity to support for our March meeting. SafeSpace empowers the safety and well-being of adult victims of domestic violence and their children by providing intervention, prevention, and adovacy services. 
     
    We ask that attendees consider bring Personal Product items from the wishlist below. We will collect these items at the meeting: 

     

    • Personal Care (soap, lotion, deodorant, brushes, makeup)
    • Femine Products
    • Ethnic Hair Products (shampoo and conditioner, Cantu, Eco Gel, moisturizing cream, bonnets)
