    Topic Overview:

Managing employees isn't something to be taken lightly. Whether you're trying to figure out how to deal with the myriad employment laws that regulate your interactions with employees or dealing with an employee who isn't performing, managing and leading employees can be hard work, time consuming, and sometimes exhausting.

With today's employment challenges, HR's role in management training is critical to ensure not only compliance, but to assist organizational leaders in connecting with their workforce. Organizations that do this right see a greater employee engagement and in return greater support from all of their stakeholders, including customers and employees.

    Learning Objectives:
    • Understanding the importance of management training.
    • Listing the key objectives that should be included in leadership development.
    • Understanding how to educate management on the importance of employee engagement and positive and negative outcomes from engagement or disengagement.
    • Create specific outcomes and competencies required of organizational leaders.
    • How to add value to the performance management process.
