    Speakers :

    Dr. Brooke Hall is a mental health leader, educator, and certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor with extensive experience supporting youth, families, and communities. She is passionate about making mental health education practical and approachable, helping people feel more confident recognizing when someone may need support, knowing how to respond, and connecting them with appropriate resources.

    Jane McNulty Snead is the Director of Development for United Against Poverty of Indian River County and a dedicated advocate for community well-being. For the past five years, she has served as a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor, training hundreds of community members, professionals, and volunteers to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges. Through Mental Health First Aid, participants learn how to recognize risk factors and warning signs, provide initial support, and connect individuals to appropriate professional, peer, social, and self-help resources.

    With a background in crisis stabilization, workforce development, and nonprofit leadership, Jane is passionate about helping individuals and families build pathways to stability and success. She also serves on several community boards and committees focused on addressing local challenges, reviewing grant investments, and strengthening the nonprofit sector by helping organizations grow their capacity, enhance their effectiveness, and expand their community impact.

    Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. This training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
